World’s coolest one-off Safari-spec Nissan GT-R?

safari-spec Nissan GT-R

Take an already bonkers Nissan GT-R and tweak the engine, jack it up by 12cm and you’ve got the world’s coolest safari-spec Nissan GT-R, yes?

This thing looks awesome. Here at MotoFomo we love it when people tune vehicles you don’t expect to be tweaked for rough roading. And this one-off Nissan GT-R from Dutch car dealership, Classic Youngtimers Consultancy (CYC) takes the cake, and it’s called Godzilla 2.0.

This isn’t the company’s first rodeo having turned out a rough road Bentley Continental GT and a Lamborghini Gallardo. The engine has been tuned to more than 600hp and given it a 12cm lift. The tyres? They’re a “huge set of off-road tyres,” CYC said. The wheel arches have been pumped to allow the bigger wheels and tyres to fit.

“The adjustments are so extreme, it could’ve been a military vehicle. That’s exactly why the camouflage wrap on the bodywork is the perfect match for our latest weapon,” CYC said. Hmmm, that could be a little bit of a stretch.

A spare wheel carrier has been custom made and fitted, and a light bar has been installed on the roof with two new LED driving lights fitted into the bumper. Godzilla 2.0 is available to buy now for around $154,000.
